About Coral Springs
Coral Springs is a city located in Broward County, Florida. The City of Coral Springs, Florida is bordered by the cities of Parkland, Tamarac and Coconut Creek. Coral Springs is an independent city that is not part of any county.
It was founded in 1963 by a group of investors, who gave the city its current name. Today, it is the second largest city in Broward County and home to the University of Miami's College of Engineering.
The population of Coral Springs is over 104,000 people and is one of South Florida's most prominent neighborhoods. It's also home to some of the best schools in Broward County, with an award-winning school district that provides a well-rounded education for students of all ages. Coral Springs offers plenty of opportunities for families, including parks, shopping malls, restaurants, nightlife, and more!
Coral Springs is also home to the Everglades National Park and has many biking paths for residents and visitors to enjoy. In terms of daily activities for locals, there are many sports clubs for adults to join including tennis clubs or gyms as well as many recreational programs for kids such as soccer camps or karate classes.
The Coral Springs community was designed with families in mind. The city offers many activities for kids including preschools, daycare centers, public parks and events. The proximity to Fort Lauderdale makes it easy for parents to commute to work or go shopping on the weekends.
The real estate in the city of Coral Springs is a the perfect combination of affordability and convenience. The median home price is $250,000-$300,000 with a turnpike connection to Palm Beach and Miami Dade. The airport is only 17 miles away which makes it easier for people to fly in and out of the city.
